Giving Opportunities that You May Not Be Able to Afford to Pass Up!

Did you know there are ways to support Alameda County Health Care Foundation that don't affect your current lifestyle or your family's security?

  • You can make a gift that costs you nothing during your lifetime.
  • You can make a gift that leaves your cash flow and current financial planning unchanged.
  • You don’t have to use cash to make your gift: you can “buy low and give high” by making your gift with appreciated securities instead.

Popular giving arrangements:

Include ACHCF in your Will

If you need to preserve your assets during your lifetime, you can plan a gift to us that will only take effect after your other obligations have ceased.

Be part of our Legacy Society

Alameda County Health Care Foundation honors every planned gift donor with membership in the Legacy Society. We invite you to become a member of the Legacy Society, created exclusively to honor and recognize people who are committed to maintaining and improving the health of all residents of Alameda County, regardless of ability to pay through a gift to the Alameda County Health Care Foundation in their wills, trusts or estate plans. As a member of the Foundation’s Legacy Society, you’ll receive a certificate of appreciation to serve as a reminder to others of your support of our mission. Your gift can be recognized publicly, unless you prefer to give anonymously. The Society also provides information and assistance to donors considering a planned gift.

What Is the Next Step?

If you have already arranged for a bequest or other planned gift, we would like to honor your support please notify us and become a member. If you are still considering such a gift, let us know so we can help you and your advisors complete your gift in a way that benefits your estate and makes clear your intention to help the Alameda County Health Care Foundation.

Donors must be advised to seek their own legal and tax advice in connection with gift and tax planning matters. Alameda County Health Care Foundation and its staff cannot provide donors or others legal or tax advice.
