From its beginnings, the Foundation offices were located inside the Highland Campus complex of the Alameda County Medical Center at 1411 East 31st Street in Oakland, CA, until our first move off-site, effective 1/11/10, to 2001 Broadway, Suite M (the historic I. Magnin building), in downtown Oakland, just south of the Paramount Theater.

Public Transportation

The I. Magnin building is easily accessible by AC Transit (Lines 51, 805, NL) and BART (19th St. station).

Parking

Street parking is available at various times of the day and evening, and there are several parking lots/garages within one or two blocks from 20th and Broadway.

Building Entrance

The main entrance to 2001 Broadway is actually on 20th Street (Thomas L Berkley), just behind the bus stop. The address is clearly marked on the building.

Foundation Offices

We are located on the mezzanine floor, except for our conference room which is just off the first-floor lobby. The building and floors are secure, accessible only by card key. To enter the building, just use our call box (Start, 05) by the front door, and we will meet you in the lobby and escort you to our offices.
