You may also want to find out whether or not your employer offers a matching grant or matching gift program to double private gifts made to charitable organizations. For example, a gift of $50.00 could be turned into a $100.00 gift toward the program of your choice or you may simply choose to give to the area of greatest need. 

The process is simple. Contact your supervisor or human resources department and ask for a matching grant form. Fill out the form and mail it to the indicated address. The human resources department will receive your gift, finish filling out the form, and send both your gift and the corporate matching gift to the Alameda County Health Care Foundation. Some restrictions may apply.
