Board Member Spotlight

Dr. Mittelberger Shines in Circle of Caring

As a member of the Foundation’s prestigious Circle of Caring, Dr. Mittelberger has demonstrated his dedication to the mission of the Alameda County Health Care Foundation for many years as a donor board member and past board chair.

Notably, Dr. Mittelberger is a former CEO of the Alameda County Medical Center, and was selected by The California HealthCare Foundation (CHCF) as one of 30 health professionals as a Health Care Leadership program fellow.  The program helps talented professionals acquire the skills needed to positively influence health care policy and delivery in California. Sponsored by CHCF, it is administered by the Center for the Health Professions at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).

Special thanks to Dr. Mittelberger for serving as the Master of Ceremony for our Annual Golf Classic held in September.
