Board Member Profile

Tom Bochenek

Tom Bochenek is a dedicated husband, father, businessman, and community volunteer. He is just the type of individual the Alameda County Health Care Foundation was seeking when he was recruited to join its Board of Directors.

Tom has made his mark as a leader as he helps guide the Foundation in various projects that will have a direct positive impact on the health and well-being of all Alameda County residents.

Along with wife, Jenny Kuo, Tom believes in supporting ACHCF with his time as a volunteer, his talent as a businessman, and his treasure as a major gift donor and fundraising solicitor. He is the Chief Financial Officer, California Business Banking, for Wells Fargo in San Francisco. Although Wells Fargo expects its senior managers to be involved in community activities, Tom is involved because he firmly believes in the mission of the ACHCF to support the equipment and program needs of the Alameda County Medical Center.

In the coming year, Tom expects to be active in all ACHCF fundraising activities, but has taken a prominent role in the Angiography Suite Acquisition Campaign. This project will result in the installation of a major piece of diagnostic and minimally invasive surgical equipment that will be utilized by virtually all medical divisions within the ACMC.

The ACHCF is well served by a board member who is so well rounded and qualified to help it reach its goals.
